I found this forum when I google support for insulin resistance. My 13 year old daughter was just diagnosed. I'm gonna head on over to the thread i was reading about having insulin resistance but not PCOS. Seems there is a woman there who's dr won't treat her daughter for it, and I am finding there are soooooo many young girls with this, and treating them for it is just now starting to happen.
I need support in knowing what I can do to help her. She is on Metformin 1 week yesterday. But I need to understand more about diet and supplements so i can help her.
