Need to get back on track!
Hi Everyone! My name is Amanda, 27, and over the past few years I've worked really hard to get my weight from 215(+) down to 137.
When I went to college I was around 140 pounds and I did a great job of putting on well over 70 pounds. Once I graduated I moved to a small mountain town and had no access to fast food and everyone lived a very active lifestyle and I got down to the 130s. In October of last year I transferred to Houston and I was put right back into the middle of a busy life with convenient unhealthy food everywhere! I'm very disappointed because since the new year I have put back on 12 pounds. I thought I knew how to diet and eat healthy but I don't have the will power with everything so easily accessible. To add fuel to my out of control eating I have a new boyfriend who likes to take me out, I've also had some major stress/life changing events (close family member publicly murdered and my doggie died), moved away from all my family and friends to Houston, and I don't love the job I relocated for. I have been going to therapy and was on an anti-depressant which I have since quit taking but now I'm on birth control! So I'm hoping by joining here I can maybe find some support and get those 12 pounds back off and maybe a few more! Also if anyone is selling will power I need a bunch!!!:D |
