New Member - would love support, tips & ideas :)

  • Hello,

I just joined now (found this forum by looking for some weight watcher help on google). I've been married for almost 12 years and we have 9 year old twins, a dog and 2 cats. I started to really put on my weight after my wedding and gained 15 pounds by the time I got pregnant with our twins. After that it seemed to get out of control - I almost stopped caring what I felt like and looked like. Since I've had them I've only been down in my normal weight range twice. I seem to lose the weight, then put it back on before I realize. This time I'm tired of it and am bound and determined to reach my goal weight and stay there.

I started doing weight watchers - NOT the new points plus (from information gathered online etc as I cannot afford to join). I started that the 2nd week of January 2011 with a starting weight was 229.68. Today I'm down 30 pounds and under 200 again!! I weighed in last Sunday at 199.32 pounds. I would love to be able to get back to my wedding weight of 165 pounds - hopefully by mid September 2011. (My jeans were a size 18-20 when I started and now I'm a 16 & even some of the 16s are big which is a very good feeling).

I'm making a good effort to exercise daily and keep a food & exercise journal.

I would love to read through the forum and get tips, tricks, ideas, support - anything that can help me finish this journey & continue on with this for life!

Thanks, I look forward to getting to know you all
