New to 3 fat chicks
Hello all. This is my first post, so I wanted to introduce myself. I developed my weight issue in 2005. I gained 60 lbs in one year. Since then I have tried calorie counting, food restriction diets, and numberous exercise plans, with either no success or only short term success. I never go over 190 and never go below 179. My largest issue is that I become frustrated with programs and move on to something else (or nothing else). I went to the doctor in 2007 and he said my thyroid levels were borderline. I told him I didn't want to be put on medicine if I could control it. He said that without medicine I would weigh 300 lbs within the next 5 years. I don't go see him anymore. I am hoping that 3 fat chicks will hope keep me motivated.

:welcome2: It's great that you're actively working toward losing the excess weight. Have you figured out why programs do or don't work for you, and why you have difficulties getting past your frustrations? Good luck reaching your weight loss goal. The people around here are helpful and friendly; I hope to see you around the boards. |
