Any tips on dieting before my gastric bypass?? May 10 surgery date...
 

I am 34 years old and had been very active and thin up until about 5 years ago. I am severe asthmatic and have been on very high doses of steroids for the last 2 1/2 years straight. I have gone through numerous weight loss programs and have not been able to keep the weight off. My doctor thinks that by losing a relatively large amount of weight somewhat quickly, my asthma will start getting better and I won't have to be on the steroids that make me unable to lose the weight. I just want to know what kind of diet I should be on to prepare for the surgery- I want to be as healthy as possible going into it!! Thank you for your time.
