Any Binge Eaters Out There?
 

Hello,

I'm Laney, I'm 42 years old single (but looking!) and I've got a pretty big issue with binge eating. I've been doing it for 30 years!

I'm looking for other binge eaters out there who are not into the diet mentality. I eat healthy and exercise most of the time, I know that if I could just cut out bingeing, my weight would stabilize. Anyone out there like me? I could really use a buddy!

there are lots of threads with advice and support about binge eating here. I too have binged for the past 25 years and never thought that I would be able to break the cycle. However since joining 3fc in january I have managed to lose 28lbs but more importantly I have not binged for 85 days. I dont know why this has worked when all else has failed but visiting the site daily and realising that I am not the only one with this problem has given me a tremendous boost of self esteem and will power. When I binged I felt out of control and isolated, withdrawing myself from friends and family and social situations. Now I feel supported and encouraged and surrounded by people who actually understand me.
