
I started a protein enhanced diet on 3/17/2011 and on 3/25/2011 I weighed myself and had lost 5 pounds, 230 to 225. I was super excited.
I have battled with my weight as far as I can remember......when I graduated from high school in 1998, I was 220 pounds. Then when I got pregnant I topped the scales at 280......ugh. In March of 2008 I received the lap band surgery. I was 260 at that point. I lost 40 pounds and got down to 220. But then I got lazy with my food choices and put on 15 pounds bringing me back up to 235. So now I am at 225, on a diet that has worked for me for almost 2 weeks, this thursday 3/31/11 will be my two week mark.......I can't wait to get on the scale to see if there was more weight loss this week.
I have a very supportive husband who loves me regardless of what size I am. But I always feel in the back of my mind that he is embarrassed to be seen with me. Even thought he is not, I always think that. I DON'T WANT THAT FEELING ANYMORE.
