Hello and bonjour everyone!

I'm Nikole an American living in France ... with my husband and 3 children. I have always had meat on my bones but after having children my weight skyrocketed. I was recently dignosed with PCOS. I started my weight lose in Feb and have lost 22lbs so far.

Welcome to 3FC! Congrats on your weight loss so far, that's a pretty impressive loss since just last month!

A few of us just started an Expat Support Group for people trying to diet outside their usual culinary environment. Most of us are Americans living overseas, but of course we have similar challenges as you, living outside France. We are also trying to swap recipes for healthy non-American cuisines, so would love your input on how to cook healthy french food!

There's also a PCOS support group and lots of other useful forums on this site. Best wishes for your journey!

Congrats on the loss so far! I have PCOS as well but haven't tried to have any children just yet. Its a hard struggle but you just have to keep watching and pushing through everyday. I have found that us girls with PCOS have to be a little more careful of our carbs.
