Hello from Florida :)

  • Hello to everyone here! I'm a married 27 year old in Florida who's brand new to ths site and 5 days into my diet. Or change of life rather. I'm feeling optimistic with my new changes and am looking forward to exploring this site and getting to know some of you.

    I need to lose about 80 pounds then I will reevaluate my plans. I'm eating between 1000-1200 calories daily. I'm aiming to hit the gym at least three mornings a week and walk my dogs for at least half an hour every night. I also ordered this mini elliptical thing from QVC and will use that at home after work a few times a week.

    I think tracking my progress here will really help and I welcome anyone's input! I'd live to know what works for you and happy to talk about anything.

  • Hello Rashelle. I hope you find this site an enjoyable and informative place to visit as I have. One thing I would like to help you with or at least mention. Try to stay away from a weight scale for the minimum of 2 weeks if u can. Remember while losing weight you r exercising, and we all know that you gain muscle which is heavier than fat. I mostly go by how my clothes r fitting me. Good luck to you.

  • Welcome Rashelle, Glad to have you join us. My advice is to look for a Support group, Chat, or Challange to join; small groups make it easier to get connected. Most sub-forums have groups covering almost every need, find one that inspires or motivates you and just post to join.
