back AGAIN.
back again! i was doing well and posting every so often last year. i started drinking again which has lead to bad eating habits. not to mention i lost my 24 hour membership due to visa issues. luckily i have recently discovered that my school gym doesn't charge or check ID. I worked out for the first time in two months today and feel great. :carrot: for a while i was taking the street car to work due to the weather but SF is beautiful and i have begun walking the mile embarcadero to my pier job again. things are looking up. i hope to find new friends and motivation on this site. i am 24, single and living in san francisco. i couldn't be happier besides the fact that i don't feel comfortable in my own skin. i am waiting until tomorrow to start my official weigh in, but last i checked i was 174. well that is my story... now i am off to explore the site. amanda <3 |
Hello Everyone I am new to this site, I'm just learning how to get around the forums. I haven't started an exercise program yet and am having anxiety attacks about weighing myself. I plan on losing 100 lbs. I think I'm around 240lbs now. I was thin my whole life, exercised like a maniac...then something happened and I'm still trying to figure out what that was. Maybe stress, boredom, I'm not really sure. Now I am heavy out of shape, short of breath and my legs hurt just standing. I would like to find support, I need motivation. I am 48yrs old and live in NJ..Hope to talk everyone soon.

Welcome Amanda, Glad to have you back. My advice is to look for a Support group, Chat, or Challange to join; small groups make it easier to get connected. Most sub-forums have groups covering almost every need, find one that inspires or motivates you and just post to join.
