My First Post On 3FC

Hi,

My name is Julie. I have been watching this website for a few months now thinking about how I should join and get in gear. Everyone here seems so positive and supportive and that is definitely something I need in my life especially when it comes to weight loss. I am about to turn 23 in March and I am about 210lbs. My ultimate goal is to get down to about 130. Wow, that seems like an impossible goal right about now but I am hoping with a little support from people who understand what I am going through I will be able to take things one day at a time and reach my goal in the next 12 months. I look forward to getting to know some of you and supporting you when you need someone to believe in you as well.

Good luck, Ladies. Let's do this!

Welcome Julie, you can definitely do it! It does seem overwhelming at the beginning. Try to break it up into smaller increments and find a plan that works for you, and before you know it, you'll have made significant progress!

Julie, Glad to have you join us. My advice is to look for a Support group, Chat, or Challange to join; small groups make it easier to get connected. Most sub-forums have groups covering almost every need, find one that inspires or motivates you and just post to join.

Thanks for the warm welcome ladies! I will definitely look into joining a chat or challenge. Sounds like fun!
