Ready to climb out of this fat suit
 

Hello everyone,
I have been a lurker on this website for a couple of weeks and I have finally decided to join. Heck... I have finally decided to do a lot of things to reclaim my body.
A little about myself :
I am 37 years old, 5 foot 2 and 175 pounds. I have 3 kids and an awesome husband who thinks I'm ridiculous for wanting to lose weight (bless him) .
I put on about 40 pounds after I broke my back and had to go on steroids and bed rest. I had surgery to correct my spine 2 years ago and can finally exercise again.
I know that It's pretty impressive that I can walk normally and even run a little but I want to STRUT again ;) I know there is a fit goddess somewhere inside of this fat suit!
I have ordered medifast and I have been going to my local Y for fitness classes.

Decena, Glad to have you join us. My advice is to look for a Support group, Chat, or Challange to join such as in the Medifast group; small groups make it easier to get connected. Most sub-forums have groups covering almost every need, find one that inspires or motivates you and just post to join.
