Introduction

Hello, this is my first day on this site, I just now registered. I am a work in progress on this thing called weight loss, and like my title suggests, I wish to be like the Phoenix, rising again, reborn as a different person -- a thinner, healthier person.

I have a long road ahead of me, but what I found here poking around as a guest has impressed me very much. This site is a wealth of information, support, and fun from what I've seen. So if you'll pardon me, I am gonna jump right in!

I am doing a low carb style plan and have already lost about 17 lbs., but I put my weight down as the weight when I started here.

Thanks to the founders of this site, where ever they may be...this is the funnest weight loss support forum I have seen.

Hi, I am new to this post today and looking for friends and support for my weight loss journey. Like most I have tried many ways to loose and the low carb seems to be the easiest for me to stick to so today I am commiting to it again and want to loose 50lbs by summer. Does anyone have any great induction low carb quick and easy food ideas? I don't cook very often. :)

Welcome...to a person after my own heart!

I don't think I have to say it, but I find inspiration in that same symbolism, as well...lol. I'm pretty new here myself, and I must say that it has already been quite refreshing to come across some like-minded individuals in an environment which draws people from all walks of life. I love that such diversity also has it's own sense of unity here. :goodvibes

Phoenix, Glad to have you join us. My advice is to look for a Support group, Chat, or Challange to join; small groups make it easier to get connected. Most sub-forums have groups covering almost every need, find one that inspires or motivates you and just post to join.
