Hello, my name is Heather. Im new to this web forum. Thank God i found it, because i was dying for new recipes. Life got rather complicated. I gained lots of weight over the years but never have been this big before. Im 288 and desperate to lose about 100 pounds. I was recently diagnosed with type 2 diabetis and that really made me want to change. I never had the motivation or desire to keep on a diet until now, till i realized my life had to change or i would die. SO.... here i am desperate to change..and desperate to stick to this new lifestyle even if it kills me..

I need as much encouragement as possible...so if your encouraging.. i want you as a friend..lol..just kidding..i just love making new friends..

Heather, Glad to have you join us. My advice is to look for a Support group, Chat, or Challange to join; small groups make it easier to get connected. Most sub-forums have groups covering almost every need, find one that inspires or motivates you and just post to join.
