i'm kinda sorta new!

been browsing the foums on and off since before my wedding! finally decided to start posting and get UBER-serious about my weight loss!

a little intro: i'm 30 years old and live in los angeles. i am currently going to school to finish up my bachelor's in creative writing while i work fulltime as an executive assistant to the ceo of a medical supplies company. I am also a newlywed! my husband and i got married just 7 months ago!

i have been dealing with weight issues ALL my life. i've never been out and out "obese", but i have never been considered thin...i have always been into sports and always been told i have an "athletic body"...but as i got older, the "athletic body" slowly turned into "chubby".

i met my husband three years ago when i was at my heaviest (214lbs.) and he still loved me unconditionally and made me feel like the most beautiful girl in the world. as our relationship progressed, i was motivated to get back on track and i started following the "eat clean" diet and quickly went down to about 180lbs. i crash dieted before our wedding and on our wedding day, i weighed 167lbs. since then, i have gained about ten of those pounds back and im just SICK of it!

I exercise religiously, eat pretty healthy foods (i cook organic, green, clean food almost everyday for me and my husband) and STILL I cant seem to shed any weight.

I was JUST about to join weight watchers and lose serious amounts of cash doing so, when I remembered this forum and thought...hmmm....maybe I just need some SUPPORT! and maybe make some new friends!

So here I am!

Welcome. Have you tried low carb? I've always eaten healthy but even the "healthy carbs" were a problem for me.

Glad to have you join us. My advice is to look for a Support group, Chat, or Challange to join; small groups make it easier to get connected. Most sub-forums have one or more covering almost every need, find one that inspires or motivates you and just post to join.
