Hey everyone! First off I have to say that I love how motivating this forum is. I've been reading through the goal posts and I want to get to the gym NOW! I'm 24 and I've always been petite but for the last 18 months the weight has been slowly piling up. The first time I really noticed was after my family got home from vacation and I saw how terrible I looked in my photos. I tried to diet and instead ended up binging and gaining even more weight. I'm now at the highest weight I've ever been and I want a change in my life.
My weight gain has contributed to my depression and I want to be happy and look healthy again. I want my husband to be proud of me.
So today is the day. I'm going to start exercising with determination and purpose and I'm going to start eating to nourish my body instead of feed my feelings. I would like to eventually run a 5k.
It's bad when you know you're big to begin with, but when you have to see it in pictures, that's when it really stings. Stay around, check some posts out, and GET MOTIVATED! Hope to see an update post from you soon
Im a newbie too. My goal is also 30 lbs and I am 24. After giving birth too my second son, I too am the biggest I have ever been. I just want to get back to my pre=pregnancy weight! Good Luck and Best Wishes on your Journey!
