
I'm looking to go from 245 to 185. I've been calorie counting (1800 but I feel alright if I keep under 2000- it's a fairly large reduction for me, I'm ashamed to say) for the last two weeks. I do Zumba for an hour to and hour and a half 2-3 times a week. I need to find another exercise for crosstraining, though Zumba is really the only thing I like. I also have difficulty eating healthy foods-- I usually don't have too difficult a time staying under my caloric limit but I really don't like many non-starchy vegetables, though I do enjoy fruit! This is really going to be a lifestyle change for me because my family as a whole doesn't eat well, and we're all really large.
I have really busy days and I'm involved in a lot of different things, so sometimes all I really want to do is sit on the couch instead of exercise, lol. I feel pretty good about myself as a person and actually with my appearance too...at this point it's more of a health issue, and I hate not being able to keep up with others my age because of my weight! Anyway, these are my goals. Any suggestions and/or comments would be helpful.
