Hey, Howdy, Hey!!!
Thank goodness the calendar didn't get updated cause I had forgotten my user name. It's been a few years:^:
Hi, my name is Jen and I am over-weight. :wave: I have 2 girls that are 9 and 11 and an absolutely, wonderful fiance and loves me the way I am. Although, his love has made being heavy easier, I am not happy with it. In 2008, my divorce was final and I took a stand. Started working out and eating healthy. I was doing pretty darn good. I lost a total of 40 lbs. I was getting compliments and I was buying new clothes. I began dating and wasn't as concerned about my weight as I would've been a year before. In 2009, I got sick with a nasty respitory infection that knocked me out for over a month. I couldn't exercise without running out of breathe. Heck, I'd walk from house to the car and it would wear me out!! I went from exercising everyday to my old ways and gaining everything I had lost in a year and a half. Now, as I am close to tipping the 300 mark, I'm taking a stand once again. I know what I need to do and I felt so much better when I was losing and exercising. Why wouldn't I want to get back to that? I always said, there is tomorrow. Today is my tomorrow. So, my weight as of this morning was 297.6 lbs. My short term goal is to get to 290. When I reach that, I will go from there. Looking forward to meeting all of you and even more so cheering each other on as we progress.:D |
