Giving Weight loss a try. . . again

Hey.
So I am a 25 yr old currently soon to be unemployed fat chick. :dizzy:
I figured that if I am losing my nanny job I might as well work on losing some weight.

I am at the heaviest I have ever been, and am fed up with it!
I know I need to loose the weight, I just have to stay motivated.
I am starting the new weight watchers points plus program in about 1 week.

Does anyone have any sugggestions to help me with this plan?

With it being winter, I fear I will also have trouble getting enough exercize, any ideas?
Any suggestions or words of encouragement would be appreciated:)
Thanks

Welcome!

What I do know about WW is that we have a nice active group here.

Hello there, Aloud1 ---

I like your attitude! Life gives you "free" time, so you're going to jump into this weight loss thing with both feet. It might be easier to get all those important habits in place while you are a free agent than it would have been when you were herding the kiddies.

I am just starting and so I don't have any useful advice for you --- but snooping around on this site, I have read lots of great posts. Pick one of the forums that seems like a good fit for your goals and I bet there will be plenty of great tips from the other folks there.

:welcome:

Hey there Rachel - :wel3fc:

We have a wonderful Weight Watchers forum here...they'll have tons of suggestions and ideas to help you with the Points Plus program.

We also have a group of folks in your age range, the 20-somethings. That might be a good place to look as well.

As for exercise, you can do a LOT in your own home, Videos are one option, but even throwing on some music and dancing can be cardio. Find a way to get your heart rate up, and you're there.

Anyway, look around, find a spot or many that feel right, and get to posting. Can't wait to get to know you better!
