Default Skinny Chick vs Fat Chick

Good Morning All,
Four years ago I used the Atkins plan and lost 45 pounds, but 4 years later its all back. I need a life plan I can live with so I decided to try the Weight Watchers plan. Since I am a single mom I don't have the funds to actually join, so I decided to try it on my own using info from the web. I figured out I can have 24 points a day. Now my biggest question is if a turkey footlong Subway is 10 points I can have this and then that leaves me room for snacks during the day and at night. Is this okay? I have to do something, I miss all the clothes I bought when I was skinny chick! Fat chick is not a happy camper!

Best of luck to everyone!

The problem with you getting info off the web is that the program has changed. The new program has a minimum of 29 points that a person can get.The points value on the foods have gone up as well .That sub you are talking about is now 14 points.Do you think just eating a sub and snacks will be enough to satisfy you? I couldn't live on it.I don't think you can either long term.
I understand the not being able to afford it but right now joining is free,so I am guessing you could join for just a meeting fee which is about 12 bucks. You get all your plan info in one shot now instead of over 10 weeks. You could also invest say 35 bucks and get the food companions and the calculator. The new program is great and people are having lots of success with it.
The message boards on the WW site are free to anyone. Good luck with your weight loss.

Thank you for the info and relpys. I really couldn't eat more that Subway and maybe a bowl of soup (Progresso 2 points) in one day. I found a great snack called magic Pop and its like a rice cake only yummier. With the amount of food I am able to eat this is more than enough for me. Sad to hear my Subway went up to 14 points but it's going to be a struggle to even make it to 20 points a day. Is there a online points list for the new system?
