No more excuses

been here before but never followed through. Now I have no more excuses that work. I'm 61 and a hundred pounds overweight. Have been "big" all my life with a short time when my son was young. The doctor says "lose the weight and the diabetes & high cholsteral will come down. Yeah right, I've heard that before. the difference this time is a beautiful great grandson 19 months old and my buddy. I want to watch him grow up. There it is--plain and simple. So now I start for real.
My husband of 42 years is an invalid, big, and very unhappy with his life. It makes exercising very difficult for me. I've blamed the stress too.
Any tips, advice, and support will be very much appreciated.

Hey :)
You can do this as long as you admit where you are in your life and what you can do to change it. There is nothing wrong with being at fault. Maintain a positive attitude (no matter what) and have determination to push forward. Stay on here. Read success stories. Look at the pictures these members post to show all their hard work. Be the next to do the same! That's the way I look at it and it's pushed me since I have joined this forum. I make sure to get on the forum at least once a day to read or post and it just gives me that drive to work hard at my goal.

I wish you the best of luck. And now that we are all here for you!
