Introduction :)
Hi there!
I am so happy and thrilled that I found this site. I have been reading everyone's stories and loved how open and sharing you are! I am ready and willing to participate with you in the ultimate goal of becoming healthy and losing weight. That is, if you'll have me lol ;) Here's my story. I have been heavy my whole life. Yes, it sucked...bad. Growing up heavy was hard. My Mother has been heavy her whole life as well, her Mother was heavy and so on and so on. I was taught very, very bad eating habits early on, so it's been extremely hard to break that. My heaviest weight was 260. I was miserable, eating to comfort myself from marital problems. After I decided that I wanted to be healthy for my children, I was able to lose 25 lbs. I've kept that off for over a year now. My weight bounces back and forth about 5 lbs. I've tried jump starting weight loss again with RX diet pills and extreme exercising and calorie counting. :devil: Of course, it worked....but of course, it came back. I am sooooooo ready to just jump in and get this weight off! I have a wedding to attend in March and I want to set a goal to be AT LEAST 30 lbs. lighter then. With hard work and dedication, I know I can do it! The question is, can you all keep me motivated and be a buddy to me? I really need it! Thanks everyone :hug: - Dee |
Hey fellow newbie! I would love to join you in the journey :) It's a brave step for anyone to admit that they are not in a healthy stage in their life. It's even braver to speak about it with others. That alone shows that you, as everyone else, on here can do this.
