reintroduction
It's time to get serious! I've been over weight for the last 30 years and I'm going to lose this weight once and for all. I'm an older lady, I have high blood pressure. I don't want to go into my old age fat. I'm tired of talking about dieting to friends and family because I've failed and I know they don't take me seriously. I just want to DO IT and suprise them. I need your support and encouragement. I need to talk about this process so I plan to spend alot of time in the 100 plus forum.
I'm 5'8" and weigh 266. I've decided to try a 1,500 calorie plan with the good fats (olive oil), low sodium and lots of veggies and fruit. Is this too low? My treadmill died, but for exercise, I plan to use my Wii fit that has been collecting dust since last Christmas. When it warms up, I plan to get outdoors and walk. Thanks in advance for your help and happy dieting!!! |
It's never too late to work for your health. It sounds like you have a good plan to get started. Stick with it. I have the book "Younger Next Year" by Chris Crowley and Henry Lodge. It's pretty inspirational. They tout diet and exercise (lots of exercise) as the Fountain of Youth. Never too late, and never give up!
