Trying it on my own this time

  • Hi all - new here. I have enjoyed visiting this forum over the months (who am I kidding - years) and don't know why I never joined before. New here, going to give it a shot the good old fashioned way - fewer calories in, more calories burned. I'm going to try to do it without spending hundreds of dollars.

    Anyway, thanks in advance for the support I'll need it! Now out the door for a walk I go...

    At the risk of offending people who have medical conditions and sorry if I do: the majority of the time it really is "eat less, move more" - so you sound as though you've got the right idea! Save those hundreds of dollars for (non-food) treats to reward yourself as you go!

  • Welcome Blarney! It sounds like we are at similar weights. I just started (aga in) on friday. Well I really started thursday but ended up cheating by the end of the day! So i am considering Friday my official start date. Good luck to you!
  • Writing down what I eat and counting calories have helped big time w/me! I write down EVERYTHING i eat! Hopefully that helps! Good luck!
