New from NOLA

Hello All- Newbie here looking to lose the 70lbs (wow, hurts typing that) I have gained over the last year and a half. I'm still poking about getting a feel for the community. All suggestions, tips, hints, etc are welcome:^:

Heyyy, a fellow NOLA dweller! Welcome--it's great to see a neighbor, someone else who understands that the allure of beignets is great indeed. :D

(Technically I'm in Metairie, but I am NOLA born, NOLA raised. Katrina decided that it was time for me to move a couple of miles west, though.)
