I always have a hard time starting a diet or trying to lose weight so I thought maybe joining a forum would help. Maybe find some other people who are fighting the same battles.
Even people who look tiny can have BIG issues with food. I believe it starts with trying to grow up to look like the stars and celebrities. I grew up trying to look like Cher and Barbie. Didn't happen, but my weight has been an issue ever since. No matter what I really look like. You will get lots of advice and opinions from this website. It's fascinating to me, and keeping at the computer screen keeps me out of the kitchen. My advice and opinion is: If a diet and exercise program isn't making you feel in control, mix it up. You can change to something else. You sure don't have to throw in the towel. This is a life-time committment but it will bring you joy and power. Even though you can't see it, you will be improving every day.
