Excited to find this site

I was googling some info about a particular weight loss support group, and the 3FC website came up in the search. I'm thrilled to find you!

I've been struggling with my weight for many, many years, and I know it's something a little beyond my own power to be able to control. I'm placing it in God's hands, as only He can give me the strength to overcome my food addiction. And I'm seeing that is what the problem is... it's an addiction. I know how to & what I should be eating... and heaven knows I exercise like a crazy woman. But I get these cravings out of the blue for something with refined sugar/carbs... for instance, if there's a loaf of bread in the house for my husband's lunch, look out. It's really unreasonable. And this NEEDS to change.

I look forward to meeting others who share similar obstacles... and I look forward to us all overcoming the obstacles together.

Have a glorious day!

Hi! :)
:welcome: to 3FC!
We're glad you found us too :)
There is a forum here called Faith Based Groups (one of many, many forums). Check it out to see if it's the right fit for you :) If not, there are forums for every age and size :)
Hugs and support to you on your weight loss journey :flow1:

Welcome and good luck! Definitely look around at the other sub-forums (there's ones for different age groups, different approaches to diet, exercise, and a faith-based group, like someone else already mentioned). Getting over food addiction is just like any other addiction, it's a process. Just always remember not to put yourself down too much if you feel like you've failed and just try and do better the next day. Eventually all your hard work will pay off. :)
