Hello from a little island in East Asia!
 

Right now, I am considered obese (BMI=28). Living in Asia (Taiwan) and being an Asian girl, the pressure to be skinny is enormous. So I decided to lose weight for my own health and sanity! lol
I have exactly 52 lbs to go to get to my "ideal" weight. But personally, I'll be fine just losing half of that and being 125lbs, 5'2 and chubby with a normal BMI.

I understand where you are coming from. I am French and I am pressured about my weight as well; for both looks and health reasons.

I am also new to this forum and have also given myself a 45 - 50lb weight goal; I will be happy with any loss just as long as I can feel sexy again.
