Hello everyone!

My name is Pam and I happened to stumbled across this site. I've been the chunky, funny girl my whole life and I'm over it. I guess what drew me in was the idea of having some form of support. My friends and family don't understand what it's like to be heavy, what it's like to constantly feel like you're being scrutinized. My fiance is wonderful, but he's perfectly content being overweight and doesn't want to change. It's quite frustrating!

OK, now I'm rambling :dizzy: Anyway, I look forward to meeting everyone and getting to know you all.

Welcome to the forum. I am new as well and I have to tell you it is wonderful here! I too have an overweight husband who is content with his weight and I agree, it's very frustrating. If you ever need to vent, Im here.
