Looking to Lose!

Hi, I'm Meagan and I'm 18, a full time college student, and I've been chubby for years. I'm slowly starting to gain more and more weight, and I'm very uncomfortable with my body right now. I lost a lot of weight on the South Beach Diet when I was 15/16, which isn't very healthy, but it was all that helped. I got really restrictive, and ended up eating only about 500-550 calories a day for a couple of months, and it got so bad I ended up in the hospital a couple of times, that wasn't enough of a wake up call, and although my parents made me eat more, and monitored what I was eating I started purging. Since then I've gone to support groups, therapy, and haven't purged in nearly 2 years. :) However, unfortunately I've gained all the weight back and then some. I wish I had pictures of my lowest weight, I didn't get to low because my parents caught on before it spiraled out of control. I started at around 165 and got down to 130, and apparently according to friends and family I looked really "skinny" and it was a great weight for me, but however, you may know how body image disorders warp the way you see things, although my clothes were falling off of me I still saw myself the same exact way. I have no pictures of then, because even though I was at my smallest, I was more insecure than I had ever been. I just want to lose weight slowly and healthily. I've tried WW online, and that helped somewhat, but with being a full time student it's hard to find time to track every single point. I'm mostly here for some support, to find some recipes, get some hints, tips, and some easy work outs to tone.

Now for some stats!
I'm 18, I'm Female, I live in Florida, I'm an art major (soon to be Education, hopefully to be an art teacher), and I'm 5'5.5" and currently weigh about 169-172, I haven't stepped on a scale in a while out of fear, you know how it goes. I want to get down to about 120-125, my BMI is starting to get, if not already, in the overweight range and that scares me, I don't want to be obese as a 20 year old. I carry most of my weight in my stomach, and find that I tend to lose it all there first. I'm most insecure about my arms, I don't wear sleeveless tops, and if I do, it's always with a cardigan to cover my arms. No matter what I can't lose the fat, I can get them strong, but then just look more bulky, I have no idea what to do about that, since you can't spot train and just lose weight there (UGH!) Anyways this is a lengthy introduction, any more information you want to know, just ask!
