New beginning

About 5 months ago I decided for about the 100th time to start another diet and exercise program. I can not begin to say how many times I have lost and gained back the same pounds, but one thing I know for sure, this is the last time. I can not say why this time is different, maybe because I was finally ready and made up my mind that no one and nothing was going to stop me. So far I am down 40 pounds with 25 to go and even though I can not say for sure when I will make my goal, I know with certainty that it will happen. For the last year I have been working two jobs (13 hour days) and will have to do this for the next year at least (65 hours a week) but I made up my mind that this would not stop me. I had to make exercise fit into this schedule. So.... I get up at 5 in the morning and walk at least 4.5 miles on my treadmill and then start my first job at 8:00 in the morning. At 5:00 I finish that job and go to the next until 10:00 PM. This is 5 days a week and every other Saturday. At first when I started walking was unable to even go 1/2 a mile. I am now walking at least 60-75 minutes 5 days a week. I will be 60 next year and my fear was that if I stayed heavy I would not be able to exercise and I would be stuck. I hope that this might help someone make a decision to start their new beginning and hope for a bit of inspiration as well.

Hi Lainey,
I too have started and quit at least 100 times when trying to lose weight, and every time I would gain back what I lost. I admire your willpower, it's awesome. By the sounds of it, you will definitely make it to your goal.

Lori
