Hi there!
Hi, my name is Teresa. I just found this site and am loving what I read. Everyone seems so supportive so I thought I'd join in. I need to lose about 30 pounds and am having a really hard time with sticking to anything. I know what I need to do, its the sticking it out part that I'm not too good with. My goal (besides the obvious weight loss) is to be able to run a 5k. It's something I've always wanted to do. But, I've never been a runner. So this will be a challenge but one that I'm looking forward to. About a year ago I got to the point where I could run a good mile and a half without stopping (a monumental achievement for me) but then slacked off so here I am starting all over again. I plan on counting calories, not because I like to. but because I've found that it's the only thing that works for me. But, I can never seem to keep that up either. I'm hoping to get some support here for that as well and to be able to offer others the encouragement and support they need.
