3 Fat Chicks on a Diet Weight Loss Community

Hi, I'm from US, 37 years old.

I got interested in this subject few years ago because of my husband. He was professional softball player, and 5-6 years ago he got serious injury. With a lot less activity plus his early days eating habits, he gained 72 pounds in only 6 months. I didn't like it, but I thought he will fix that as soon he get better. He got better, but unfortunately he couldn't continue to play because of same injury effects and ruined physical condition (and his years :(). After that, depression was our worst enemy and he gained 10 more. At that point, he was 291lbs (6'4").
I knew that 99% of weight loss market is big BS, and I was researching a lot about healthy diets. To make this story short, after few years of struggle, we managed to take his weight in control (specially in last year), and he will soon reach his goal - 210 (15 more to go!!). I even started a business based on that subject :) (I know :), I read the agreement and I won't advertise here... a lot :p ).

Unfortunately, I didn't knew about this forum earlier... I guess it would be much easier for us to go through. I was lurking a lot last few days here :), and I saw high volume of positive attitude and encouragement and decided to join with idea to help someone and share our experience.
