3 Fat Chicks on a Diet Weight Loss Community

Just wanted to introduce myself, I'm from the UK, 29 years old.

I have heard about this site before but didn't really have time to look at it but now that I'm free and single I have much more time on my hands! It's definitely inspiriational to say the least, love the before and after pics people put up, it's a great reminder that *I* can do it too.

I've been overweight most of my life and I actually can't remember a time when I thought I was a healthy weight. I grew really quickly, when I was about 13/14 I was 5'9 and stayed that height but I was always overweight! This is the heaviest I've ever been but the weird things is, I don't look what I weigh. I'm currently a size UK 22/24 but from my weight I SHOULD be about a size 30 (thank goodness I'm not!) unsure why that is but I have a long way to go. My best friend is getting married in March and I really don't want to look frumpy in his wedding photos. I'm also going on holiday next year in October so I have an entire year to lose as much as I can. I don't want to be really skinny, I actually love curves and would be happy around 11 stone (I'd look silly being skinny anyway since I'm pretty tall) so I'm looking forward to any words of encouragement any of you might have!
