newbie here !!!
 

Hi everyone my name is stephanie. 45 years old 158 today OMG !! I feel horrible and dont look to great either. Im looking for some diet buddies that can help me... im kinda not motivated to do anything these days.. 2 boys off to college. only have my 14 year old daughter home and my husband. Maybe this is a depression thing because my boys are off to college...i dont know what it is... but i know i need to do something !! HELP I think im sinking

Hi Stephanie.. welcome to 3FC.
Although I have a lot more weight to lose than you do, our stories are similar. I am 47, my older son moved out of state last summer and my youngest just left college, which leaves me and hubby home alone, for the first time in 20 yrs.
I am happy for the boys, they are doing what they love and while I do miss them terribly, I thought this was the perfect time to make some lifestyle changes and focus on ME for a change.
Hubby and I have thrown out all the junk food and soda and started walking for exercise. We count calories and have each lost 20 pounds to date. We eat healthier now and feel better than we have in years.

Maybe your daughter would walk with you? It would be nice to have some quality time together for the two of you... good luck to you.
