Eyyyyyy! :)

Hey guys,

Another fat chick here trying to get right. :carrot:

I've been dieting (I say that very loosely) and incorporating exercise into my life for a few weeks now. I haven't seen a great amount of progress as far as weight loss, but my double chin in the making is disappearing, and my clothes are alot more loose on me. Gives me a great deal of confidence.

I think my biggest problem is that when I mess up, I really mess up. Like if I want a sweet, I won't have one oatmeal creme pie, but like 4 back to back. :( It's hard to tell my brain to stop, but I swear it's like when a shark smells blood... I've pinpointed the problem, so the next step is fixing it. Hopefully you guys can help me with that. :)

But yeah, in a nutshell I'm fat, and I don't wanna be.

Here's to a healthy weight loss journey,
Senora

Hi and welcome!

I can relate to the overeating. You know how people say eat in moderation.. I often wondered how easy that would be. I am finding that once I start eating more healthy foods, the less that I crave fatty foods. I never thought it would be true, but I have been eating healthy for a week or two and I don't really crave the chips, chocolates or ice cream junk that I was eating before (I even walked by the ice cream in the grocery store without picking one up) :)

Admitting your fat is a good step. I never wanted to admit that either, but a wake up call from the doctor changed that. Good luck on your goals.

I was just talking with a co-worker the other day about the fact that I really don't have an "issue" with food...I don't eat when I am sad, mad, or stressed. I eat what I like and sometimes can't stop because I LOVE the taste and chewing sensation that accompanies some foods and if I know there is some left in the fridge of something I LOVE, it calls to me until I finish it off! I also have a hard time with binge eating...
