Hi everyone!

I'm a single person living in a single apartment all by herself. For pretty much the second time ever. I lost a lot of weight (about 2 pant sizes!) since last year, but have felt so lazy and hungry this summer that I feel like I've gained it all back (not to mention the weight loss can be credited to a very difficult wisdom teeth removal). With my "summer" life finally coming around to an end... I feel that this is as good a time as any to jump back on the wagon and really start turning things around. I've gotten rid of all my junk food and have "The Mayo Clinic Diet" book and a diet journal ready to go...

I read about how people usually need a good support group around themselves so I simply Googled "weight loss forums" and found this place! It looks simple and inviting and flexible -- the only criteria I had.

So thanks for having me and best of luck to us all!

Hi there! I am new, too! I just joined tonight =). In my past, when I've lost weight, or a pant size it is then I would slack off and be lazy with my weightloss. Big mistake..it creates a roller coaster for sure. I'm doing weight watchers and have been since January.. gained some pounds back over the summer, though.. and ready to get back on track! I read that you have your diet journal ready to go.. Yay! I found that if I keep my diet journal with me 24/7, I am extremely more focused and stay on the right path. When I start leaving it behind, I start eating way more food than I should. No matter the past, keep looking forward! I'm so excited about finding this forum!
