Default Hello

Hello,
My name is carrie 34, I'm a stay at home mom of 3 small children. My husband is in the military and is never home.About 5 months ago I fell ill and had to under go 3 major surgeries Now that I'm feeling better it's time for me to get back on track I had a Hysto and from that I have gained 25 pounds of unwanted weight...My dr says that I will gain some weight due to the hormon change. The problem I can't seem to lose it and on top of the baby weight I feel like I'll be fat forever. It's hard for me to get to the gym well because I'm by myself with 3 small kids. Im Glad that I found this group can anyone tell me what diets they are on that have worked.
Thanks,Carrie

Hi and Welcome to 3FC!

I don't have a particular plan I am following. I fill my day with whole grains, lot's of veggies, fruit and lean protein - watching my portion sizes. I drink a lot of water every, at least 64oz and exercise 4 - 5 days a week. I have cut out fast food or junk foods - with the rare exception.

I also eat throughout the whole day, 3 meals and 2 snacks, to keep my body moving.

I hav cut out fast food or junk foods.

This has worked for me so far and I really feel like it is a lifestyle change not just a diet, I don't feel deprived in any way.

What have you tried in the past??

Best of Luck!
