New and ready!
 

Hey everyone, new here so just had to stop in and do the intro post :)

I'm Ashleigh, 23, living in Oregon although I have spent some time on the East Coast and in Washington state. I'm a student hoping to finish my BA soon and I'm ready to get into shape.

I have always been chubby and a few years back my husband and I decided to change our lifestyles. I got down to a prime weight of about 125 (although with several bad habits to get there). I gave up those habits and was still able to maintain... I then went through some personal loss that made me not just fall off the wagon, but completly jump head first all the way back to the high 180's.

I decided after complete loss of self esteem, tired of buying bigger clothes, and seeing my best friend be diagnosed with first gestational diabetes then eventually diabetes, I realized it was truly time to lose weight and be healthy for my future.

So, I'm hoping my gym membership, my determination and this community will help me reach my goal!

Congratulations on setting such healthy goals!!!! You will find a lot of support here and some great information! Even though I am just getting started, I find 3FCs to be probably the best tool I have ever used to keep motivated.

I am looking forward to seeing more of your posts!
