A re-run!

So I've done this before, even been on here before and I'm getting ready to attempt it again! I need to lose 60 lbs. and get to 180. It 's 10 lbs. more than a few months ago and truthfully may be 10 more than that but I'm too scared to get on the scale. I'm scared, upset at myself, and pretty discouraged due to the "attempts" I've made in the past. I'm hoping with all my hope that this will be "the successful one!".

I will be officially starting on Monday by watching portions and doing 30 minutes of walking. I will be starting Weight Watchers online on Friday. Just seems to be the same ole song & dance.......I've always been upbeat & ready to go at the start of a "new" diet. Just feel defeated this time. Maybe this time will be it.

Thank you for your reply and congrats for quitting smoking! I quit 1/9/09 which resulted in a 40 lb. weight gain. I need to remember even if I lose nothing that was a big accomplishment......just need to quit the gaining.

sunray,
I'll bet I've tried to lose weight at least 100 times in the last 38 years.
I had the same doubts as you when I started my journey June of 2009.
I have taken it slowly enough to learn not only how to lose weight but how to keep it off as well. 3FC has been a life-saver for me.
I hope that this will be "the time" for you as well. Hope to see many posts from you in the future!
