Ready to lose

Hello forum go-ers!
I'm very excited to be here, and I hope to meet some wonderful people and get support :) !

A little about me:
I'm 21 (well, will be in Aug), and I'm a college student, and JUST graduated with my A.A. and am moving on to a B.A.
I was always skinny when I was a kid, but something happened along the way and by middle school I was over weight.
My parents started mentioning my weight problems (nothing negative just suggesting I should start eating better, but I take what they say VERY seriously) and when I was 15 I literally just decided one morning that I would lose weight to get them off my back. I lost 20lbs (from a starting weight of 160) in a few months by counting calories and exercising (Richard Simmons tapes... oh yes.)
After that, as it happens so often, I fell off the wagon. 5 years later I weigh 210lbs, I'm 5'4", and for the life of me I have not been able to keep a diet since.
It's really aggravating because it was so easy when I didn't care, and now that I REALLY care it's like climbing a mountain! (hmmm, mountain or a mole-hill?)

I also deal with anxiety which doesn't help, and live in a dessert :/ nothing like exercising in 110 degree heat xD !

Help!

My goal is to get back to 140lbs, or a size 10 (which is what I was at before).

Welcome

We are glad you are here. My advice is to just start eating healthy (cut out all junk food, fast food and soda), this is what i have done this first month. It gives you something to work towards but not overwhelming. Good luck and let us know how it is going.
