Atkins
Weight Watchers
South Beach
Slimfast
Body for life
And probably a couple of others

I had a difficult time with all of them to tell you the truth. With the lower calorie diets I struggled with hunger and with the low carb diets my cravings overwhelmed me and I felt sick. I know that only lasts temporarily, but I couldn't stick with it more than a few days without giving in.
Now, I am ready to conquer this, but I am so confused on what to do! I have kind of considered just counting calories and trying to stay away from sugary high carb foods. Kind of a mixture of the programs I guess.
So, I guess my question is... what worked for you? Did you have problems in the beginning? How did you overcome them? I am very determined to do this. I have a one year old son, and I know my husband and I will want other children in the future. With my first pregnancy I developed preeclampsia and stressed out about how fat I was the entire time. Plus, I had to deliver 6 weeks early. The next time, I want a HEALTHY pregnancy. I know that being in shape and at a healthy weight will help this happen. Thanks for any help!
