Default Another new member! Hello everyone!

My name is Steph and I turned 21 last month. I have no idea what to do yet or where to start! Maybe some background will help, I will be a Senior in college this fall, at home for the summer and no current job. The weight gain started in high school but I did not notice because I was happy with my body. That is my goal I guess, to be happy with how I look. As for weight I want to be down to at least 140 for healthy BMI and to get the doctor off my back! Anyhow, the last three years of college I have gained about 40 pounds and it shows. I try to eat healthy but is tough in college and especially at home because my family has never been healthy eaters. The recreation center at my school is free so I am hoping to start in the fall. For now I have been using the Shake Weight (yes, as seen on TV), Wii EA Active and activities outside. The Shake Weight is amazing! I am beginning to see definition in my arms, shoulders and back. EA Active gives me a workout but I am not sure if it is enough. I swim and ride bikes with my family too.

In August my family is taking a vacation across the country. So my mother started our own challenge. Whoever loses the most weight gets an extra $100 to spend however we like. This is the third week and I have not lost any weight. I did not work out last week because I lacked the motivation.
So I started back up today, joined here because I want this weight off so bad!! Sorry for the long post! Hopefully you all can give me feedback on beginning here. Where to post and all the basics

Thanks for reading!
