Default New here... from Florida

Hi all. I'm new. Some info about myself and why I am here: I'm 48. Had my 3rd (and last) child at age 45. The other two are young adults. This is a second marriage and I also have 2 young adult step children. I did have a tummy tuck mostly to repair muscles last year. Mid-40s pregnancy wasn't easy to snap back from. So... waist size is good. Weight isn't too bad.... I bounce between 140-144, which is close to my post-pregnancy and pre-tuck weight. My weight did NOT change much post-tuck. I've always felt better at 115-120. My goal is to get down to at least 125... but would prefer closer to 120. My husband is overweight and has been most of his life. I have some bad food habits but his food habits are a lot worse. So why am I here? Mostly to learn... and because I want both my husband and I to be as healthy as we can be for our youngest son. He will need us a long time. I got the BFC book and read it. We've gotten some of the products but had to use good substitutes for some because I can't afford some of the higher priced ones that we'd have to mail order. We've been checking sugar and carbs for about 4 days now. We have a huge walk in pantry we recently stocked.... will need to replace the belly bad foods with belly good bit by bit as we certainly can't just throw the bad stuff out. We are actively trying to keep our numbers down though. But here's some of our shocks. The go gurt we give our son has 10g sugar and 3 carb points. My morning blueberry bagels, which I eat dry, are 3 carbs and 11 sugars! Our sons box 100% juice drinks are 22g sugar and 2 points carb. The list goes on. Shocked!!! So we are doing what we can to weed out the belly bad and keep our numbers as low as we can until we are able to replace foods with belly good. QUESTION: The bfc book doesn't mention the use of the belly fat cure drink. At least I couldn't find it mentioned... just found the recipie. When is this used. I was surprised to see it says use 3 capsules of the probiotic and drink the full 20 oz drink (it's a lot for me to drink in one sitting...) The probiotic directions say to use 1 capsule a day. So I am just wondering ... how often is this drink supposed to be done?? Is it an occassionaly cleansing type thing? Where would I get more information on it without having to pay on his site?
I look forward to getting to know you here and to both supporting you in your goals and receiving support from you.
