Hi everyone!

Hi everyone!
My name is Debby and I'm new here. I have never been a skinny person, and after I graduated college and got married last year, I gained even more weight bringing me to my heaviest weight ever. About 4 months ago I bought a scale and weighed myself for the first time in a very long time. Although I knew I had gained weight, I was shocked to find I was up to 233 pounds. At first I was just completely depressed, but then I decided it was time for a change. With the support and help of my wonderful husband I got rid of all the unhealthy food in the house, started cooking healthier meals, and started exercising more. I'm currently down to 185 pounds. That's almost 50 pounds gone in 4 months! And I'm hopefully on my way to a healthy weight for the first time in my adult life, maybe ever (I was not a skinny child). I've also discovered my inner athlete and am training for a half marathon in September and a century bike ride in October. I've been reading this forum for a while now and I thought it was time I finally introduced myself and started posting. So hi, and hopefully I'll be talking to you all more soon!
