Hi there!

Obviously, I'm new to the forum. My name is Christine, I'm 24, I'm a student, and I live in Michigan. I hope this community will be the support system I need. My friends are all slender, without eating right or exercising, and aren't the most empathetic to my struggles.

About a year and a half ago, I lost 40 pounds and gained 20 back in the last 10 months or so. I bought a whole new wardrobe and gave away all of my bigger clothes because I vowed I would never gain weight again-- and now I have to wear track pants everyday. Haha.

I look forward to getting to know you. I hope I will find the support I need and also be able to give support.

Hi and welcome. I hear you! I gained back about 25 lbs. of the 65 I had lost. Most of my clothes from my weight at that time are still in my closet waiting for me to get back into them. I'm trying to avoid buying clothes as much as I can right now because I intend to get right back into those clothes.

I just joined a couple of days ago, and have found that there is SO much support here. So much so that I'm still trying to figure out where I need to be. I look forward to seeing you around the boards...maybe the featherweight board?

You totally sound like me! I lost 40 about 2 years ago, and gains about 20 in this last 6 months, and YES I did buy all new clothes, and yes now they don't fit. Are we twins? lol!
