Hi everyone
Just joined so I thought I would introduce myself. Im Ariana and im 28. I have a 3 boys(28, 9, 2) We have all gotten into bad habits and gained weight more than ever before. After experiencing postpartum with the last baby, a combo of self medicating with food and the medication I have but on more weight after the baby than when I was pregnant. Seeing that he just turned 2 I figured it was time to kick into high gear. Also my husband almost hit the 300 mark and I think that has hit a sour note to him since he usually resists my efforts to get us healthy. HE is more of a food/sugar/carb addict than I am so I get grief from the boys about the healthy foods that I bring in so that is a slight downer. Next BIG obstacle is that I work at Outback Steakhouse.NOw I do endulge on the salads and veggies more than anything we find a was to make those less than good for you. Looking for a new job at the end of the summer so just have to stay strong until then. On the upside we just joined the YMCA and have made the commitment to workout together tues/thurs/sat as a whole family.Im letting Joey, my 9 yo, start by playing with the kids in the gym hopefully that just more physical activity will help there. And my friend goes ion the mornings to Zumba and I will join her there. So looking forward to all of the positive changes coming to my family ! Glad to be here to share this exerience with others.:dizzy:
