Hi and welcome to 3FC.
I suggest deciding on a plan and commit to it 150%. Good luck with your goals. Hugs Michelle |
Just stay committed! I know it sounds so much easier than done, but you can always come here for support! You can do whatever you want if you just put your mind to it! Dont be to hard on yourself if you mess up, you can always start back up again right away!! Learn from your mistakes and learn how to fix them! Good luck!!

Sounds like part of your plan is going to have to include stress management then.
What is it that causes the stress? Can any of that change? What other ways besides eating do you use to cope with stress? Can your coping techniques expand to give you more options? A. |

I think you will like it here - lots of great advice, healthy recipes and supportive people! I am exactly in your boat, and we're on a similar journey in terms of weight loss. Two years ago, I lost to my lowest (and happiest) weight, but have been gaining back ever since. I know, for me, I do best with a lower carb/higher protein plan just because it controls my cravings and keeps my energy high. So, I'm back on South Beach Phase 1. However, I think it's important to figure out exactly what works best for you. Pick something you can live with rather than choosing based on quick weight loss and MOVE. Any extra calories you can burn will help, and I know for myself, exercise keeps me honest about what I eat. I am less likely to eat something bad and undo my hard work. Take it slow and focus on the small victories. You'll get there, and you can maintain. We all have the motivation and the discipline to succeed...it's just addressing those underlying issues (i.e. stress, unhappiness, fear, etc) that are holding us back. Good luck and keep us updated on your journey! |
