Introducing another new 'chick'

Hello everyone.
I am 23 years old, live in Canada, and have been battling my weight ever since i was child.
My starting weight was 215
I am now down to 202
And my goal weight is 170-160

This is my first forum community. I have looked through some of the success stores and they are so inspirational (thanks for sharing).

I plan to follow a low carb diet with lots of water (and fruit - even though some are kinda high on the carb count). I am a major carb junkie!! (and did i mention how i LOVE bread and chocolate? (separately of course)).

I really have a hard time with motivation. I may exercise for a few days but then i seem to fall of the wagon. So exercising consistently will be big for me.

I look forward to meeting my fellow 'chicks' and until then good health and good luck.

Holly

It sounds like you have a very reasonable goal and plan in mind... I'm a fellow- Choc-oholic, so I can relate there. ;)

:welcome: HOLLY ~ We have a CANADIAN thread in the SUPPORT GROUPS forum (click on that name in the main list and you will find our thread in that forum) ... come by and visit us sometime.

Here's a link to the Canadian thread ~

We also have a 20-something forum where you can chat with those in your age group and of course, lots of lower carb groups here. Lower sugar fruit are the berries (ie strawberries, raspberries, blackberries, and blueberries, etc). I like to do my toning exercises first thing upon waking and that way I can never put them off; it works for me. Also WALKING can be done anywhere, anytime; in between breaks or at lunchtime, etc. You can walk around malls and department stores and not even feel like you are exercising ...

Come back often; that really helps -- Rosebud :flow1:

Welcome!

Bread and chocolate, two of my big weaknesses as well.
