Hello

Hi. I have been struggling with my weight since I was around 14 yrs. old. I was never happy, even when I was slim and healthy. I've been steadily working on me for the past year. Today is actually the anniversary. I started to trace back the reason for my issues and started to heal myself. Of course all with the support of my family and friends. I am on a journey and I am loving every minute of it.

About 2 yrs ago I started as a size 26, got down to a 20 around August of 2009. I am now a 14-16.

The hardest part is food. I am addicted to anything with cheese. I've tried all types of cheeses as a substitute but nothing is the same as full fat cheese. I make sure I eat right all week and treat myself with one cheat day per week. So far this works as I don't feel deprived.:dust:

I joined this community to help me get through some of those plateaus. Only you fully understand what I am going through.

Welcome! Cheese is my downfall too! One thing I have learned through my recent weight loss journey...I have been on so many. It is better to have light or full fat cheese vs fat free. Most fat free products tend to have a lot of sugar and sugar, for me anyway, causes cravings. So, I have been doing the Metabolic Research Center diet and they allow a couple of ounces of full fat cheese a day. I shred it and put it on a 50 calorie La Tortillla Factory Smart tortilla and it is wonderful. Like a quesidilla. Good luck to you. This is a great place to give and receive support.
